Rains came as the cars were being bumped off for heat race #5. Show will be picked up on Saturday. Spectator gates open at 4:00 PM.
Several top stars missed out on transfers including Jay Drake, Tony Jones, John Scott (blown engine), Tony Elliott, Rodney
Argo, Brad Noffsinger and Dave Darland. Troy Cline, who earned a transfer to Friday's "A" main, will not be on hand on Saturday as he will be racing NASCAR Winston West at Irwindale.
Rookie David Boice got on top of the turn four crashwall in one of the "C" mains and bounced around. Never flipped, but suffered a shoulder or arm injury.
