Kolby Araki drove three races last season in the Ishii Farms
Maxim with the USAC West Coast 360s. The goal was to get a few laps and learn a little about the program and tracks before moving onto the 2012 season. The first race, Kolby started 22nd and moved up to 10th in five laps then fell back with his inexperience on restarts. By the end of the race, Kolby found his way back to the 9th spot with a rolling car at the end of the night. This year Kolby will be driving
his own recently purchased car, #30K Stinger with Mike Downing
power. Support will come from PKS Kart Supplies, DWT, Graphix Plus, and
RLV.

The 19 year old is currently finishing up his studies at the Santa Rosa JC and will be attending Azusa Pacific as a junior in the fall. He is currently meeting with potential sponsors and would like to figure out a way to keep his race car in Southern California later in the year so he can race in Perris while attending school.
