New Mexico Motor Racing Association (NMMRA)

The New Mexico Motor Racing Association (NMMRA) has been in existence since 1950. The club has storied past with several well known past champions, including Casey Luna, Al Unser, Buddy Taylor, Jerry Miller, and Johnny Capels. The NMMRA allows a maximum of 410 cubic inch engines with non-aluminum blocks.
In 2003, Bo Baker, a second generation driver from Grant's NM won the title over another second generation driver, Steve Nix of Santa Fe, NM. Third Generation driver, Tom "T" Ball finished third, followed by standout driver Kelly Denison. The NMMRA had close to 40 cars join their ranks and look forward to better things to come.
