After a second place heat run, Jay Pape won his third street stock main event with Clay Moseley second ahead of Joe Smithberger. The hobby stocks had a 25 car turnout, but a series of incidents saw only six laps scored before the time limit expired with Travis Burns winning in his first appearance of 2002 over J R Bonesteel.
