LAKE COUNTY SPEEDWAY NON-WING SPRINT CARS Commentary by Heather Riffel (June 3, 2006-Madison, SD) Saturday night there was an unusual feeling in the air. The threat of rain caused the racing action to be cut down in laps for most feature events. The strangest part of the night had to be when the lights went out during the Hobby Stock feature event. All in all it was a good night of racing that was not lacking any excitement. Brett Mellenberndt dominated the Heartland Racing Association Wingless Sprint Car feature. He led every lap after starting on the pole. The race for second was heated between Andy Anderson and Gerod Olivier. Olivier came away with second while Anderson finished third.
