Murphy Looking Forward To Oval Nationals! By Gary Costa |

Clovis, CA –
October 30, 2007 …Peter Murphy and the Tarlton & Son Inc. immaculately
prepared Maxim will be heading to Perris Auto Speedway this week in
Perris, CA to race in the 12th annual edition of the Oval Nationals.
 Peter will be taking his SCRA championship team to do battle with non-wing and wing stars alike from allover the United States. The 3-day biggie kicks off this Thursday night . All of the drivers will have to race all 3-days, which then leads up to a healthy $30, 000 payday to the lucky winner!
This is an always,
exciting, and
must see event, as it is a USAC National and USAC/CRA Sprint
car event all rolled into one. There is no riding around in this one.
You’re either on the gas, or you’re going to get passed!

Hotel & Casino, Ridgeline Framing, Sharp Insurance, VMAC, BR Motorsports

This year, Peter has
not only clinched the SCRA championship with 6 main event victories,
but he also put a feather in his cap, by taking the Riddell Enterprises
Passing Masters Dash series as well. We hope to carry this momentum into this
week’s race!

“You definitely know what you’re up against when you go to a big event like this. I have a lot of respect for all of the drivers there. You have to bring you’re A-game. My team and sponsors stuck by me the whole season. And when things got tough,
