ITI Performance Weekend Recap

(Ontario, California - September 17, 2007) Everyone talks about how the first win is the hardest one too get. Well David Cardey’s first win came on September 1st and he picked up his second USAC/CRA win in his iTi Powered Bullet Chassis on September 15th at Perris Auto Speedway. In the last 3 races David has 2 wins and a 3rd place finish. He is 7th in the points chase and 93 points back of 6th place. 

iTi Driver Scotty Weir posted 2nd quick time for the night. Scotty started the A-main in the 8th position and finished in the 5 finishing spot. 

Tyler Brown also took home another top 10 finish. Brown still remains on top of the Rookie of the year point’s battle.

Another standout drive by Davey Pombo puts him with 12 victories in the 2007 season. His latest victory was on September 15th at Kings Speedway as he set fast time and won his heat race. Davey trails the SCRA 360’s point leader by 80 points. Davey lost the points lead while attending Indiana’s Sprint week and he missed an event that was not announced as a double points race until the drivers meeting.
