September 11, 2006..USAC’s 2006 Young Automotive Rocky Mountain Sprint
Car Champion will be crowned Saturday night at Rocky Mountain Raceways in
Jimmy Wysong hopes to successfully defend his 2005 title, while Jim
Waters seeks his third series title. Dave Fitzgerald ranks third and is a long
shot to garner his first series championship. A total of 76 points are available
and Wysong leads Waters by 30 and Fitzgerald by 68.
