HARD HITTIN' HARDIN WINS BY KNOCKOUT AT THE LAWRENCEBURG SPEEDWAY |

August 20, 2006...Matt Hardin gave his competitors the "one
two punch" Saturday night at The Lawrenceburg Speedway, piloting his
#27X Chris Hoyer owned mount into Victory Lane after leading every lap of the
Feature Event and dominating preliminary action. Hardin was chased to
the checkers by #77 Jason Knoke, #49 Troy Link, #2C Tim Spindler and rookie
#4M, John Memmer.
Hardin, making only his 2nd appearance at The Lawrenceburg Speedway for the
2006 season, began his ferocious night by charging to a heat race victory from
his 5th place starting position. His efforts allowed him to redraw for
Feature starting position, where Hardin would draw the coveted pole.
Despite his luck in redraw, it was Hardin's finesse on the bottom of the
race track that secured the victory. Hardin eased his #27X around the
tire markers, smooth as silk on the wheel and exercised near perfect throttle
control to capture the victory by a straight away advantage.

Dick Gaines Memorial race, where the winner will walk away with $3000 and
hardware honoring one of Lawrenceburg Speedway's most cherished sons, the
