Robert Ballou Runs SCRA Opener by Gary Costa |

April 9, 2006...The Ballou Motorsports team headed to Chowchilla Speedway to do battle with
SCRA's Non-Wing Warriors.
As the night progressed Robert was quickly showing why he is called "The
Rocklin Rocket".
On an extremely tricky track surface, the fast learning youngster picked up an
entertaining win in heat race #2. Robert brought home the win by hitting all
his marks and not allowing himself to get shook up, by beating veteran Brent
Kaeding to the line.
In the feature, Darin Smith hit the setup which propelled Robert from his 14th
starting spot, to picking off cars, off of the top or bottom of the speedway.
Unfortunately on his charge to the front, a car spun in Robert's path which
flattened his right rear tire.
