| Southwest Sprint Car Thunder at Show Low, Arizona heating the mountain up! |

August 25, 2005...The Southwest Sprint Car Series racing at Thunder Raceway Friday and Saturday
night has attracted a few heavy hitters, Rick Ziehl from Las Cruces New
Mexico, Johnny Herrera, Jason Tanner, Jon Taylor all from Albuquerque,
New Mexico, and the first Main Event winner from the Hawaii Challenge Race
in Honolulu, Hawaii Ron Clark from Tucson, Arizona driving the Morales
Sprinter. Rich Bubak from Arvada, Colorado will also be making the long tow to
Thunder Raceway to make sure he will be in the hunt for the
invitation to Hawaii.
Rick Ziehl is the current points leader and also won the last Main Event at
Thunder Raceway, Herrera and Jason Tanner have both won Main Events and are in
the top five in points. The Southwest Series will race it's Final event
this season in November during the Turkey Day Holidays at Hawaii Motor
Speedway in Honolulu, Hawaii taking the top 8 to 10 cars in points from the
mainland to compete with the local cars in Hawaii!
