November 20, 2005...Cory Kruseman overcame a rare slick track and 56
other cars to win the last USAC/CRA race of the year in the ITI Performance –
Sander Engineering, Bullet, Downing # 38 sprinter. He and Rickie Gaunt swapped
the lead several times before he took control and led the last 21 laps for his 9th
victory of the year and won his 4th Kindoll Classic.
He was followed by Bill Rose, Jerry Coons Jr, Levi Jones and Davey Pombo.
Damion Gardner, the 2005 USAC/CRA Champion, set his record
22nd fast time, but retired early to finish 14th after
getting into 2nd place and breaking his front end. Bill Rose was the
hard charger on the night coming from 18th to second at the end.
