Marysville
Raceway Park in Northern California has a fast growing
division of carbureted 360 Sprint Cars. Making their debut
on April 3, 2004, this division is for the budget minded
racer. Current and past stars include Chris Magoon, Darrell
Hanestad, Charlie Marrs, Kenny Bair, Steve Stein, Jeremy
Hawes, Tony Richards, and Rick Eversult.
The
new, alcohol burning Speedway Sprint Cars will debut in
2004. This new outrageous class will not run wings on their
cars. The lack of aerodynamic stability combined with
monster V8 motors will make this an exciting class for the
spectator.

The
two closest finishes and some of the best wheel to wheel
action of 2003 prompted promoter Clyde Tipton to add a
non-wing, closely regulated, specified sprint car class to
the weekly card at Twin Cities Speedway. The “Speedway
Sprint Cars” will be the fourth division in an association
that includes the winged Pacific Sprint Cars, The TCS Stock
Car Series and the TCS Mini Stock Series.
