The SCRA begins their 2002 NWWC Tour with the first race at Southern Iowa Speedway on August 6, 2002. Since I am sure that many fans would be interested in attending a few of these shows, listed below are tour dates and locations. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

At this time, twenty cars have committed to make this year’s tour with several other teams still considering. Many fans like myself follow these wingless warriors each year and witness what I believe to be some of the best shows around. Traveling this year from Southern California to as far off as Grandview Speedway in Pennsylvania will take approximately two weeks with nine races scheduled. Some of the names listed to race are last year’s NWWC champ, Richard “Gasman” Griffin, reigning SCRA champ and non-wing driver of the year, Cory “Kruser” Kruseman, Tony “Cowboy” Jones, “Hollywood” John Scott, Mike Kirby, Danny “Showtime” Sheridan, two-time Mexican National Champion, Steve Ostling, Jeremy “The Shermanator” Sherman, “SuperRickie” Gaunt, and new phenom, Damion “The Demon” Gardner, along with twenty-five year veteran, Rip Williams.
